Find the right scale
A pattern feels different when its repeats are larger or smaller. Start by comparing the whole car.
Inspect a door panel more closely. Dense detail can overwhelm the photograph; oversized repeats can change the intended rhythm.
Consider the angle
Compare the pattern direction with the beltline and hood edges. Change one setting at a time.
Perspective matters. A flat photo treatment cannot fully describe how a pattern would wrap around a curved panel.
Separate appearance from material
This is a two dimensional preview, not a 3D model or a physical material inspection.
Check actual samples for gloss and feel. Seams, wrapped edges, durability, and installation need separate consideration.
How to get started
Prepare the selection
Import a photo in the app and inspect the body edges.
Explore the texture
Compare pattern scale and angle against the car’s lines.
Save a reference
Keep your preferred preview and compare it with physical samples.
Before you make it yours.
Can I rotate a 3D car?
No. The texture preview works on a single photo, without generating a rotatable vehicle model.
Can it check wrap material quality?
No. A photo cannot establish film thickness, service life, or physical reflectivity. Consult samples and material information.
Is CarRim free to use?
Free to download and use. The free service is supported by ads, and some exports may require watching a rewarded ad; ad removal is an optional purchase. Check the App Store for version 3.0 download availability.
